The Ask
A stand for spectacles, Easy to set up, easy to manufacture, Mass produced to be placed in pharmacies.
The stand should have a diopter chart. Should be able to display 3 frame designs, 7 variations of power, and 4 colour variation.
The Process
Exploring the user interactions.
Materials: Bamboo plywood to keep the element of sustainability not just in the product but also with the stand.
The Result
The diopter chart is 3 cm from the viewer’s eye. The display of the power of lenses on the left side helps increase visibility for the user.
The stand should be usable by the average Indian, with a height of 5 feet & 3 inches. Easy to pick up and move around.
